Opened in December 2007, the Nez Bistro is located in a townhouse from the 17th century,protected by by heritage, where acted as the engine senzala (slave quarters) belonged to Ana Paes, the former meadow House Forte.

Designed by the architect Juliana Monteiro , the restaurant atmosphere refers to the culture and history of the neighborhood, from the restoration of the original structure of the building to the typical materials used by the time of the construction.

Thinking about customer convenience, the house, which has the capacity to serve 75 people, has two spaces: the ground floor, where the restaurant hall and the first floor ,where is located Zahil wine shop, which includes in its ambiance tables for large and small groups.

The decor is sober and timeless, with wood paneling, peeled bricks and brick ceramic floor, designed to provide a comfortable and charming environment.

On the walls, Romero Andrade Lima and Alan Carlos works of art , as well as a beautiful collection of antique mirrors, purchased in antique shops.

To ensure an even more cozy atmosphere, ideal to enjoy good wine and have an unforgettable meal, the architect used an amber lighting, dimmable, which enhances details of the Nez Bistro.
