In Portugal, Villa do Porto is a friendly old Azorean village, located on the island of Santa Maria, with about three thousand inhabitants. Around here, Villa do Porto opens its doors surrounded by gastronomy and history in the most Azorean region of the capital of Santa Catarina.
Located in this townhouse built in 1840, Villa do Porto combines regional and contemporary cuisine.
Here, Dom Pedro II and Empress Tereza Cristina stayed, who landed their entourage in this Santo Antônio on October 21, 1845, aboard the steamer Imperatriz.
Ahead, the horizon. On the sides, the tradition that includes not only the first sidewalk in Florianópolis but also the charming Igreja Matriz de Santo Antônio de Lisboa, which is why Dom Pedro II passed through here.
The modernization began with the revamping of this environment, maintaining the structure that was found here, and ends with reinterpretations of the typical dishes of the colonizers of this region.
To complete, the contemporary touch brought from overseas especially for this Villa do Porto – Gastronomy and Bar.
