Two years after the closing of the Antiquarius, maîtres, waiters, cooks and sommeliers who were part of the team of the most admired restaurant in the history of Rio de Janeiro, come together to give life and soul to Golden Dudes, a new stronghold of Portuguese cuisine in Ipanema. Classics like duck rice, Codfish Lagareira and Toucinho do Céu are finally back. The delivery comes into operation first. The restaurant's lounges are ready to be opened, in complete safety, following the guidelines for the sector.
Driven by the dream of reliving the golden times of the old house, the talented duo André Vasconcelos and Antônio Menezes - better known as Leitão - famous sommelier and manager of Antiquarius respectively, took charge of this new and affective project that has almost 70% of the team original that for decades made history. It is these same Gajos d'Ouro - affectionate name that the late Carlos Perico gave to his team - that bring in the soul the passion and excellence of the work of those who had habitués as a mix of famous and important people who came from the four corners of the world. world. Among the internationals, musicians like Diana Ross, Bono Vox, Prince, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, actor Roger Moore and kings Juan Carlos of Spain and Gustavo, of Sweden. From the Brazilian lands, this team frequently served names such as advertisers Washington Olivetto and Nizan Guanaes, actors Suzana Vieira, Miguel Falabella, Claudia Jimenez, Adriane Galisteu, Malu Mader and musicians like Simone, Fafá de Belém and Titãs, in addition to national kings : Pelé and Roberto Carlos.

Among the main ones, the historical duck rice, which promotes a trip back in time for those who frequented the emblematic Leblon house, the codfish Carlos Perico, the VG shrimp with sparkling almond rice, the linguine with clams à Bulhão Pato and the traditional Portuguese fillet that were icons for decades of Antiquarius. But it is in the suggestions of maîtres and waiters that the heritage of the house is perceived. Some of the surprises of Gajos d'Ouro, such as wild boar cheek, Zico shrimp, cod with mountain cheese and in more than thirty other variations, are part of a selection with hundreds of items that are off the menu.
In sweets, the assortment of Portuguese desserts that work with egg yolks, nuts, almonds and sugar with extreme refinement and perfection, are presented in trays that go to the table for the customer to choose their selection.
