It was at 1996 that the Acai Workshop was born and brought to the south of Brazil the açaí, still little known in the region. As a result of a serious work and a focus on healthy eating, the Acai Workshop went beyond acai and became recognized in its segment, which made it consolidate as a brand synonymous with health and well-being.
Açaí, in addition to being popular in Brazil, has become widely used in other countries around the world. One of the reasons are its nutrients from the pigments that bring the purple color to the fruit. Its compounds involve antioxidants, vitamins, calcium, iron, fiber, phosphorus, minerals and potassium.
The plant, açaizeiro, is born in clumps, and is a small shrub of the Amazon rainforest. When added to the daily diet, it can bring many health benefits.
